Rock out with your Cox out
Music is a big part of the Cox Bazaar experience. It’s everywhere. Beggar children on the beach come up and want to sing to you for money, DJs blast loud music by hotel pools, and bands play about every night at some outdoor location during the winter season. We see construction men in lungis create stages out of bamboo for future onooshtaans, or functions. The festive nature, fireworks and loud music felt like New Years eve, but it’s a normal Wednesday night in Cox Bazaar.
We met this 10-year-old boy with an amazing spirit on the beach. His name is Ayub and he sang a Bangla band song:
